ARP

Speed track R&D

An Auditory Research Platform in the palm of your hand.

What is ARP?

Auditory Research Platform (ARP) is an integrated hardware and software solution that enables real-time processing of audio and biosignals for ear-centered wearable applications, develops signal-processing algorithms and conducts experimental validations. A quick way to evaluate new algorithms and expedite integration into new products. ARP is available either through a Research License, or through a Commercial License, to support engineering teams in fast-tracking their product developments. Back-license options are available to researchers interested in integrating algorithms and new functions for EERS hearing protection device, SonX, or other product lines.

Examples of auditory, audio and cognitive in-ear applications:

  • In-ear noise dose measurements

  • In-ear microphone voice pickup

  • Otoacoustic emission monitoring

  • Man-down detection from in-ear sensing

  • Heartbeat and breathing rate in-ear monitoring

  • In-ear non-verbal event classification

  • Active-noise control of the occlusion effect
